An elegant juxtaposition of clean lines and sinuous curvature — modernity and history — characterizes this sophisticated living space.

Creating a composition that embodies a timeless feel, contemporary vision meets historic elegance in this eclectic living room design. Forming the foundation are the Augusto sofas by Vincent Van Duysen in their crisp, linear form, forming a pleasing 'L' shape around a cluster of Van Duysen's Louisa coffee tables in luminous white. The sofas each share an edge bordered by the Mateo table, while both are punctuated on the opposite side by the Aster coffee tables — each designed by Vincent Van Duysen.

The D.154.2 by Gio Ponti in a rich marigold tone gives this living space historic context with its iconic curvature that was originally designed for Villa Planchart in the 1950's. Meanwhile, the Porta Volta armchair by Herzog & de Meuron echoes the rounded forms and white hue of the Louisa coffee tables. Completing the composition is the Stripe rug by Vincent Van Duysen, offering a subtle texture and warm feel underfoot.
