CAVALLO

Delicately sculpted with origami-like precision, Cavallo by Gio Ponti demonstrates the expressive power of a single fold that is transformed into a meaningful form. Ponti often drew inspiration from the animal kingdom and was fascinated with the uniqueness of nature and the ability of each animal to affect the space around it.

The horse is representative of his playful spirit and nature’s ability to give life to its surroundings. Cavallo is a sculptural object formed from a single sheet of metal and is a playful reminder of nature’s role in our environment.
