( Chairs and stools )
Designed to serve as seating or to be used as small tables, the Pantalica stools by Elisa Ossino offer a compelling accent to outdoor living areas. Their minimalistic shapes are inspired by archaic forms drawn from the ancient cultures of the Mediterranean basin, creating an aesthetic that evokes a rustic and timeless feel. Named after the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site in southeastern Sicily, the Pantalica collection interprets influences from antiquity for contemporary outdoor spaces.

The two stool designs are crafted on a sturdy aluminum base embellished by a carefully woven rattan made of polypropylene, a weatherproof material that is also fully circular. Each of the two stools offers a unique interpretation of the multifunctional concept.
One variation features four cylindrical bases with a cube-shaped top. The other stands upon a single cylindrical base and features a square-shaped top. With their supple synthetic rattan tops, the stools do not require a cushion when used as a seating solution.
The Pantalica stools are an elegant complement to the Pantalica daybed, Pantalica coffee table, Pantalica rug, and all other designs from the Molteni&C Outdoor Collection.

Each piece is a natural sculpture, vibrant and pure, inspired by the timeless fascination with primitivism and its reinterpretation in a contemporary key, and, at the same time, is part of a spatial concept dropped into a deeply irenic and meditative atmosphere, which alludes to the circularity of time and a dimension placed outside a linear scanning of events.
