( Product Care )
Metal
In order to maintain the aesthetic characteristics of these finishes over time and avoid rust, regular, methodical and meticulous cleaning is necessary. For everyday maintenance, dust with a soft dry cloth. For greasy oily marks (fingerprints) we advise cleaning the surfaces with normal liquid detergents for glass. Products containing solvents and/or alcohol and hard fibre cloths (linen and synthetics) should be avoided, as they could ruin and/or scratch surfaces. Require monthly maintenance with specific metal cleaning/polishing products.
Rope
Polypropylene ropes have a long-standing tradition outdoors, starting with the sailing industry, which has created small- to large-diameter ropes for the most diverse uses. Cleaning should be done preferably under cloudy skies or in the shade. Ensure that the furniture is cool before starting. Do not use abrasive sponges, steel brushes, or abrasive/caustic cleansers. Do not use steam cleaners or pressure washers. Always try to remove food residue or spilled drinks, fallen leaves, berries, flowers, and bird droppings as soon as possible to prevent stains and module.
( Designer )
Belgian architect and interior designer Vincent Van Duysen has cultivated an intrinsic dialogue between architecture, interiors, and product design, creating seamless transitions between disciplines. His work is defined by a refined pursuit of essence, materiality, and timelessness. Since 2016, he has served as Creative Director of Molteni&C.
GREEN POINT
The Green Point chair by Vincent Van Duysen embodies the natural dialogue between structure and softness. Its burnished aluminum frame traces a fluid, continuous line, evoking a distinctly modern sensibility. This clean geometry is balanced by a handwoven polypropylene rope seat and backrest, a traditional craft detail that introduces texture, depth, and a sense of refinement.
