( Product Care )
Bouclé
For weekly cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner with soft brushes and a clothes brush along the direction of the pile. If done carefully, this will result in an even fabric surface and will maintain the aesthetic and mechanical properties of the covers over time. To remove creases caused by use, place a cloth over the fabric and press with a steam iron. If dry cleaning is necessary please refer to specialised firm, providing the technical reference sheet that comes along with the product itself.
Jacquard
For everyday cleaning of fabric covers, wipe with a soft cloth to remove dust. For stains, immediately treat the surface using a clean white cloth dampened with lukewarm water, treating the stain from the outside in. When necessary, dampen the cloth with a solution of water and pH-neutral soap. Do not apply the solution directly to the fabric. To remove dirt and residue of the solution after cleaning, wipe the surface with a microfibre cloth dampened with lukewarm water. Let dry outdoors. Do not steam the upholstery. Iron on the reverse using a low temperature. COVERS Warning: Before washing, cover the Velcro on each lining with a strip of its mate to prevent damage to the lining. Carefully follow the washing instructions for each type of fabric. For household washing, when acceptable, do not roll or wring out the covers. Wash upholstery inside out using neutral soap, free of optical brighteners. Check the detergent label, since common detergents contain optical bleaching agents, that is, bleaching agents that will cause streaks and halos to appear, along with significant discolouration.
Canvas
For weekly cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner with soft brushes and a clothes brush along the direction of the pile. To resolve crushing from use we advise regularly steam ironing the surfaces, always taking care to use a cloth between fabric and iron. If dry cleaning is necessary please refer to specialised firm, providing the technical reference sheet that comes along with the product itself. Take care to use the wash cycle temperature indicated, use the wash cycle programme without spin dry and not to overload the drum. Use neutral detergents which do not contain bleach or visual whiteners and protect velcro."
Chenille
For weekly cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner with soft brushes and a clothes brush along the direction of the pile. At regular intervals, after this procedure, we advise using an adhesive brush (eliminating detached threads), always in the direction of the pile. These procedures, carried out with care, limit the colour change effect due to the pile being flattened, keeping the fabric alive and maintaining through time its good looks and structure. To eliminate colour changes due to fabric flattening we advise using steam on the surfaces with an iron at 110°, always taking care to separate iron and fabric with a cloth. To eliminate more resistant or stubborn marks, vaporize the surface at a distance of about 5/10 cm and simultaneously brush respecting the direction of the fleece (generally from top to bottom) using a brush with soft fibers. If tide marks are caused by contact with liquids, dampen the whole surface of the upholstery (not just the tide mark area) using a household spray until the surface colour is uniform. Wait for the upholstery to dry naturally (do not use direct heat) and brush in the direction of the pile as mentioned above. If dry cleaning is necessary please refer to specialised firm, providing the technical reference sheet that comes along with the product itself.

( Description )
The Ribbon bed by Vincent Van Duysen is a textile design with a soft, enveloping silhouette that takes inspiration from the gentle curves of a ribbon, wrapping the structure in a continuous embrace. As his debut collaboration with Molteni&C, the Ribbon bed showcases Van Duysen’s refined approach to modern design, where natural materials and meticulous craftsmanship converge to create an object that feels both intimate and sculptural.
RIBBON BED VINCENT VAN DUYSEN
ATTICO COFFEE TABLE NICOLA GALLIZIA
Ribbon, by Vincent Van Duysen, marks the Flemish designer’s debut with Molteni&C. The textile or leather upholstery hooks up to a ribbon, with leather details, that runs all the way round the headboard and bed and serves both a structural and an aesthetic purpose. As in a rosette, the soft and inviting silhouette underlines the familiarity of the object.
