For EssilorLuxottica’s headquarters and Tortona Experience Center in Milan, UniFor and Molteni&C contribute to a comprehensive project that combines workplace, retail, and brand experience. Developed across multiple levels and sites, the intervention reflects a long-standing collaboration, translating the client’s global identity into a coherent spatial system defined by continuity, material precision, and integrated design solutions.
The headquarters, extending over approximately 4,500 square meters, is imagined as a layered environment with operational, executive, and shared areas that coexist within a unified architecture. Material choices — from stone flooring to wood cladding and burnished metals — establish a dialogue between Milanese architectural references and contemporary technological systems.
CUSTOM DISPLAY DESKS AND WALLS
Within this context, UniFor integrates standard and bespoke solutions to define the workspace organization. The Naòs System, designed by Studio Cerri & Associati, structures the operative areas with aluminum frames and back-painted glass tops, establishing a precise and repeatable system across offices and selected executive spaces.

AP PARTITION SYSTEM ANDRÉE PUTMAN
Custom storage elements and cabinets extend this language, maintaining material continuity and reinforcing a coherent visual identity. Partition systems, including AP and RP configurations, articulate the interior through combinations of transparency and enclosure, balancing acoustic performance with spatial openness.
NAÒS SYSTEM TABLES
UniFor’s work also addresses the architectural scale of the headquarters, contributing to large wall paneling and finishing elements integrated within common areas. These components establish continuity between highly technological features — such as LED walls and radiant ceilings — and the more tactile material palette of the interiors.
Alongside the headquarters, the Tortona Experience Center reinterprets an industrial building through a hybrid program combining showroom, workspace, and brand environment. The ground floor is organized as an open exhibition space, where bespoke display tables and integrated vitrines support the presentation of products within a flexible layout.
UniFor has developed a fully customized system for the showroom environments, including dedicated work rooms equipped with LessLess tables by Jean Nouvel and tailored storage elements. Mirrored and glazed partitions define the spaces, introducing visual layering and privacy while maintaining continuity across the interiors.
On the upper level, exhibition and office areas coexist within a structured layout. Custom display systems, defined by metal structures and glass surfaces, are combined with workspaces organized through Naòs tables and double-sided shelving, creating a balance between display, storage, and operational use.
Complementing UniFor’s bespoke systems, Molteni&C contributes to the lounge and social areas with a curated selection of furnishings. Tables by Matteo Nunziati, seating by Gio Ponti, Vincent Van Duysen, and Tobia Scarpa, and elements such as the Ava tables by Foster + Partners balance comfort and elegance.
Across both sites, the integration of custom systems and selected furnishings creates a cohesive identity for the brand. The project confirms UniFor and Molteni&C’s capacity to translate complex requirements into articulated and flexible environments, shaped through a consistent architectural and design language.

Renzo Piano Building Workshop
The Parliament House of Malta, designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop, is part of the wider redevelopment of Valletta’s city gate, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Conceived as two compact stone volumes suspended on slender steel columns, the building combines civic presence, environmental responsibility, and architectural lightness. UniFor contributed to the project with custom furniture, partition systems, and furnishings for the parliamentary chamber, offices, and meeting areas.
