Born in 1972, Matteo Nunziati opened his studio in Milan in 2000. Studio Matteo Nunziati operates in the fields of interior architecture and design, pursuing a design research in which space, architecture, and product are conceived as elements of a single, coherent system. His language is rooted in the tradition of Italian design, reinterpreting its values through a contemporary, measured, and essential vision, based on rigorous proportions, the quality of materials, and a deep attention to context.

Matteo Nunziati’s design approach is founded on a continuous exchange between interior architecture and product design, a dialogue that finds a natural affinity with the design culture of Molteni&C. The projects developed together — where architectural vision and furniture supply interact as parts of a single process — can be read as expressions of an integrated design philosophy.

Matteo Nunziati has received several awards, including the Good Design Award 2011, the Wallpaper Design Award 2011*, and the Cityscape Award 2013 – Saudi Arabia for Best Architectural Project.
