Michael Anastassiades founded his studio in London in 1994. He earned a degree in civil engineering from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London, before completing a Master’s in industrial design at the Royal College of Art. In 2015 he received the Royal Designer for Industry award from the Royal Society of Arts and in 2024 he was awarded an OBE from King Charles III for services to design. His work is held in permanent collections at renowned museums around the world, including MoMA in New York, the V&A in London, MAK in Vienna, and the Arts Institute of Chicago.
