Part of the Molteni&C Heritage Collection, Ignazio Gardella’s Blevio table is a celebration of timeless design and architectural rigor. Conceived for Gardella’s own villa on Lake Como in 1930, this table embodies the purity and balance that defined his work. Its refined geometry and sculptural simplicity transcend eras, offering a piece that harmonizes effortlessly with both classic and contemporary interiors.
Blevio’s strength lies in its essential form, stripped of excess, revealing a table where structure and beauty coexist. The distinctive counter-curved supports connect seamlessly to the top, creating a dialogue between vertical and horizontal elements. These subtle curves also serve a stabilizing purpose, in a distinctive fusion of engineering and artistry.

Crafted with meticulous care, Blevio showcases materiality as a central feature. The original copper finish has been reinterpreted by Molteni&C’s Research and Development team with a special metal powder varnish, maintaining its luster while enhancing durability. Alternatively, a slab of Breccia Capraia marble enriches the design with natural veining, set within an aluminum surface.
Respecting the proportions of the original, the table has been adapted to contemporary dining standards without compromising its essence. Its simplicity allows it to integrate gracefully with a variety of settings, imparting a singular sophistication.
