COLOMBO

Taking inspiration from the animal kingdom, Gio Ponti created Colombo, a stylized dove, to serve as a reminder of the beauty and simplicity all around us. Ponti’s playful imagination delivers this unique object infusing interior spaces with life.

Crafted from a single sheet of metal, the Dove takes shape through a series of folds to create the stylized lines of the form — a unique, whimsical creature. Originally rendered from sterling silver and now reissued in stainless steel, Colombo is designed to serve as a refined place card holder, whether displayed upright or inverted.
