The Marteen sofa by Vincent Van Duysen is a modular seating and storage system defined by balance, flexibility, and sculptural presence. Its instinctive design alternates solids and voids creating a dynamic rhythm and allowing for an infinite range of compositions, from single poufs to classic two-seaters, or expansive 360° islands. Marteen transforms the way communal spaces are inhabited and shaped, offering a continuity of comfort, functionality, and architectural elegance.

Marteen's upholstered seating modules combine seamlessly with storage units, creating corner solutions or free-standing islands that inspire interaction. Freely arranged back cushions provide ergonomic versatility, allowing multiple reclining and lounging positions. Suspended on a slender pewter-colored blade foot, the system appears to float, lending lightness to even the most complex compositions while anchoring each element in understated elegance.

Distinctive details define Marteen's personality. Armrest modules serve as both support points and concealed storage in refined finishes that contrast with the pewter frame. End modules can be customized with high or low armrests, backrests, and lacquered or wood storage units, creating tailored solutions that integrate function with refined craftsmanship.
