OCTAVE

Designed by Vincent Van Duysen, Octave is a modular sofa system characterized by rigorous shapes - a subtle study of proportions, creating a graphic interplay of geometric volumes. It’s inspired by wide skyscraper windows that offer breathtaking views over cosmopolitan megacities while comfortably seated on inviting sofas.

Crafted with meticulous attention to materials and finishes, Octave combines structural integrity with tactile appeal. Blade-like extruded steel legs support the base on which rest low rectangular textile or leather upholstered backrests, of the same thickness as the cosy seat cushions. Each element, from intimate two-seater arrangements to expansive sectional layouts, is conceived with precision, creating an ensemble that allows for a variety of configurations. 

The Octave sofa is designed for contemporary lifestyles that prioritize both clean design and versatile adaptability. It offers open elements with which to create chaises longues or poufs that can be arranged alongside the composition or used as free-standing elements. Its modularity encourages playful composition and thoughtful personalization, allowing the sofa to evolve alongside the space it inhabits, whether as a centerpiece for conversation or a haven for relaxation.
