The Palinfrasca Sofa by Vincent Van Duysen embodies a dialogue between heritage and innovation, drawing inspiration from Luca Meda’s original 1994 design. Rooted in Mediterranean tradition and defined by modern restraint, the Phoenix Sofa by Vincent Van Duysen translates artisanal techniques into a contemporary language of design. The Palinfrasca armchair distills the defining themes of the Molteni&C Outdoor Collection into a singular, intimate form. Originally designed in 1952 for the legendary cruise ship Andrea Doria, this piece embodies Ponti’s vision of fluid spaces and furniture that adapts to life’s ever-changing moments, merging nautical elegance with the comfort of outdoor living.
