A sprawling estate on just under one acre in the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles, Villa Odin brings together the vision of architect Eran Gispan and interior designer Jae Omar, showcasing furnishings by Molteni&C throughout the 18,000 square foot residence. Incorporating Scandinavian design in a minimalist but warm aesthetic, the home is inspired by the Norse god, Odin, whose strength of character resonates through every space.

Villa Odin’s magnificent foyer is graced by Gio Ponti’s D.154.2 armchair and the handcrafted Aster side table by Vincent Van Duysen, bringing an intimate feel to the larger-than-life volumes of the space. Gio Ponti’s D.154.2 armchair captures the architect’s luminous spirit and masterful approach to form with its embracing, sinuous silhouette. The iconic armchair was born from a deeply personal project, the Villa Planchart in Caracas (1953-1957) - the private residence of art collectors Anala and Armando Planchart, which they commissioned Gio Ponti to design from top to bottom as both the architect and the interior designer.
