Part of the Molteni&C Heritage Collection, Ignazio Gardella’s Blevio table is a celebration of timeless design and architectural rigor. Conceived for Gardella’s own villa on Lake Como in 1930, this table embodies the purity and balance that defined his work. Its refined geometry and sculptural simplicity transcend eras, offering a piece that harmonizes effortlessly with both classic and contemporary interiors.
The Porta Volta Chair by Herzog & de Meuron is an immediately striking piece. The design’s defining element comes from the solid wood back which is curved in a U-shape, creating an inviting and enveloping feel. The floating backrest extends further to create armrests. If desired, the backrest can be bisected by a customizable cushion. Three U-frames with a unique curved “finger joint” lend the piece a detailed softness. The four legs and back are angled slightly outwards which provides a stable and comfortable repose.
If home is the heart of daily life, the Augusto sofa by Vincent Van Duysen is where one finds home. Augusto is a versatile seating system blending timelessness with contemporary flair. Embodying the welcoming spirit of Molteni&C, this sofa offers linear and rounded elements for versatile customization, including chaise lounges and islands to serve as relaxation zones. From compact spaces to spacious living rooms, Augusto offers solutions tailored to diverse needs.
The Aster coffee table by Vincent Van Duysen is the ultimate expression of compositional rationality and craftsmanship. A unique object made entirely by hand, it is a contemporary work of art that combines aesthetics and functionality. Each table has a slightly different connotation, testifying to its handcrafted nature.
Refined craftsmanship meets innovation with Fonte coffee tables by Vincent Van Duysen, featuring three table designs for three different uses. The coffee table, lounge table and night table each rest on sturdy oak legs to support the tabletop, available in an array of finishes. The subdued color hues of each tabletop harmonize with the base to create a contemporary interplay of solidity and fluidity.
